If security tab is missing for a folder property, follow below steps to resolve the issue

1. Go to Tools –> Folder Options –> View
2. In Advanced Settings, scroll down to bottom till you find “Use simple file sharing (Recommended)”
3. Uncheck the box and click OK.

Now you can see Security Tab in folder properties
